Any recommendations for Swiss focussed online accounting packages... free or modest cost for a gmbh service company, VAT registered, 60 invoices a year but lots of bitty travel and expense invoices. I just really want to get away from the quarterly irritation of putting all the paper dockets together for my accountant and pay for him to journal them, so ability scan the vouchers is important too... so I can deliver a tidy ledger and he can do the VAT return, payroll and tax returns as needed.

I prefer Banana for various reasons but have also used Bexio. The choice depends on the skills of the user and needs of the business. Bexio also offers integrated payroll accounting while Banana suggests EasySalary which is separate but can be interfaced.

If the OP is looking mostly for online software to produce customer invoices and store scanned supplier invoices, SevDesk does this quite well. The Treuhänder can then download your journals with supporting documents to pull together the accounts. It is fairly inexpensive.
