Hello forums! I’m a foreigner who has some experience with several financial markets, recently exploring the crypto market as an avenue of passive income growth. After trial and error, and countless hours of research, I’ve settled on the idea of opening a physical cryptocurrency exchange location. I’m currently looking at offices in Bern or Zurich.
If you have experience doing business in that area, my team and I would appreciate your opinion.
My opinion?
Cryptocurrencies experience wild price swings, making them impractical for everyday transactions and unreliable as a store of value. This instability can lead to significant financial losses for investors and users. Despite blockchain’s robust architecture, cryptocurrencies are vulnerable to scams, hacking, and irreversible transactions. Lost private keys or stolen wallets result in permanent financial losses.
Cryptocurrencies operate in a regulatory gray area, which increases risks of fraud, market manipulation, and legal complications. Governments may impose sudden restrictions or crackdowns that destabilise the market.
Cryptocurrencies often function more as speculative assets than legitimate currencies. Their lack of intrinsic value and reliance on the “greater fool theory” undermine their credibility as a financial tool.
Not for me.
Isn’t that a contradiction? Or rather an impossible task?
what does opening a cryptocurrency exchange location even mean?
I work in the sector, opening an office is relatively easy.
You need to get banked, which is more difficult and costly as normal banks won’t deal with crypto.
I can help with all that, you can write me a message
