Opening a e-shop while working

Hello,

A friend of mine would like to expand his business in Switzerland, I would like to open an e-shop (plus IG page) here to sell his products.

I already have a 100% job in a completely unrelated field.

Can I do this legally? Do I have to ask permission from my current employer? Can I just register myself as self-employed and pay taxes on what I manage to sell?

Well, looking at their other posts seems they may move between two residences which I guess are in Switzerland and France.

You need to provide more information:

- There are a few exceptions, but in general you need to be Swiss, a C permit holder or an EU citizen in order to have a right to establish a business.

- You need to consult your contract to see what restrictions they place on you.

Hello, sorry the information may have been misleading, I have to update my profile.

I am in canton VAUD, not in France, I have a B permit and I work in Lausanne in a 100% job.
