I have kind of a weird situation. So I am from a EU and currently have a L work permit until 14/12/22.
I will start a PhD from early January with 90% of working hours and meanwhile my current company has proposed an extension with 10% working hours. Both entities know about each other so that's ok.
I am just a bit unsure how to go about my next permit. I believe with a PhD i should get a B permit (contract is over a year) but that would start from January while my current company extension would start right away from the 15/12. Can i go with the kreisburo with both contracts and ask a B permit? Or do I need a L permit first and right after a B one? (this seems stupid though and not sure how it would work).
