Payout of holidays at the end of contract termination

I could be wrong, but nowhere on this thread does it say that the OP has actually discussed this with their supervisor, hence my advice to talk to them first as they will probably be the one covering the bill.

The OP has also not stated they have checked what is written in their contract and are just getting a load of people on here saying "yeah, they owe you money", things are rarely this cut and dried and in an academic environment personal relationships are incredibly important so I will reiterate my advice that the OP should speak to the supervisor about this first.

I think these are pertinent points, pandemic or not.

An update on my issue.

By law, the supervisor didn't have any option than a payout. It took time, but I was notified by HR that I will receive the payment in the coming days.
