Maybe this has been mentioned before but the perfect way to evade the online Newspaper paywalls and registration fee to see the full article is to evade them using the Microsoft Edge and even the old Internet Explorer browser that Edge replaced.
Some paywalled sites are still happy to have Google and other Web Crawlers indexing their material behind the scenes. To attempt to distinguish between these Web Crawlers and normal users, these sometimes read the web browser’s User Agent token or full user agent string.
See, for example: https://developers.google.com/search…oogle-crawlers for a collection of these identifiers. I’m not certain that a normal say Internet Explorer, that is, one without a “customised” user agent string, could have universal access to all paywall sites, though.
As far as I've noticed it seems to be online financial papers like The Financial Times that can block all browsers with their paywall.
I use Edge and have never evaded any paywall that shows up.
