My husband and I need to sell our car because we are moving out of Switzerland. Two places already told us they do not buy cars with more than 50.000 km (ours is a bit old, you see...). Does any one knows places more flexible in buying older cars?
Another place is through the 'used car dealers' which are often on busy streets, or motor mechanics. Many of them are happy to have your car for sale, and then when sold, will just take a small commission :-)
autociel.ch was very easy with the admin but priced their offer for my car accordingly...painfully low. i would only recommend if, like me, you fear the paperwork and procedures to transfer car ownership
Umm, there is no paperwork, nor any procedures to transfer ownership beyond handing in the plates and giving the new owner the canceled registration, which you have to do even if you sell it to a dealer.
The message board of the cantonal Hospital - there are full of new people who come and work there from foreign countries and need a car to get around + the people who visit often take time to read these boards, but look at TCS's advice to put up a selling contract that protects you well
