Anybody have a recommendation for a voltage converter for small US kitchen appliances. Max wattage is 1500, I think. Thanks,
Dan

What are you connecting? it may be easier (more elegant) to change the power-supply.
To answer your question, any electronic shop should be able to sell a transformer. You could also be able to salvage one from some dead equipment.

Works well for small electronic devices - however some kitchen appliances pull down a lot of power so I doubt if it can handle them.
I don't know your situation, but one mistake I made when moving here from the US was bringing a ton of plug adapters and some voltage converters. Lots of devices will work simply by buying a different cord/plug (because lots of devices are 110/220 already). And the rest, if you're going to stay here a while, you'll be happier biting the bullet and buying Swiss appliances in Swiss voltage.
