I have just registered my request to change my home country driving license to a Swiss one. I heard the practical test would be easier in small cities (e.g. Bulach, Regensdorf) rather than the Zurich city since there is no tram and so on there. I am wondering which city you would recommend in the zurich canton for the paractical test of driving. And do you know a great instructor to prepare me for the test? It would be great if you share your experiences. Thanks. Any other suggestion regarding the practical is more than welcome!

I may be wrong with this, but I don't think you get to chose. I would expect your test to be handled by one of the experts located at the StrassenVerkehrsAmt responsible for where you live (Zürich-Albisgüetli covers Zürich city), and the one testing you to decide the route ad hoc.
Makes sense to drive through Zurich if you live there 😀

Not really. you can multiple choice. Zurich, Winterthur, Bulach and ect are included.
If you’re not that safe or a confident driver it’s going to be obvious wherever you have to drive...
