Fair enough if you're in a hurry and a number of prints is small enough. If you do it in bulk, however, the above option isn't that appealing.
The Swiss ALdi customers' photos are printed in Germany, and on post number 13, I recommended the Aldi photo service which had received good German consumer reports, but for one or two prints the station machine is good enough.
Bumping the thread as I want to put some photos on my wall and quality of service may have changed since.
I would probably have a few about A3 and A2 size prints, so if you have good experience with a Zurich or online service printing larger formats, please share.
Thanks
The guy in charge of print at a major firm has a start-up. I doubt there's anyone in the city who knows more about the business and I expect he'll be open to negotiation on price while he's getting it up and running.
His English isn't perfect but good enough.
Thanks, I'll give them/him a try.
I can highly recommend Migros photo service:

Ive done a few A4 prints on their "premium" paper and the results are excellent, and it was only 4 CHF per print.
Thanks for the tip. I tried the poster option, but after all I stayed with the direct print on plastic (Hartschaumpalette). I really like it, no reflection, looks good from all angle; light, so easy to stick on the wall and I'm totally satisfied with the quality.
This was the first which I tried, but ordered some more already:
That looks nice. I'm tempted - my walls are pretty bare.
Who did you use (Migros?) and how much was it?
Yes, it was Migros. This was about 60chf (40×60), a smaller 30×45 was around 40chf. Obviously more expensive than a paperprint, but looks quite good even without a frame and I like it a lot better
Is anyone able to recommend a photo printing place with instant or very quick photo printing? I only need typical small frame sizes. Migros advises 2-6 days and I don't have four days of flexibility.
