Since we have to file the tax return/declaration for each year, and it is known that property abroad is also taken into account for asset. However, how do we have the estimated value for the property for a given year?
- how accurate it is required?
- it is required to have each year value evaluated?
I mean, through some consultation, we got a PDF about market price indication of that given year, however, the problem is that, when declare the year for tax return e.g. for 2021, and if that market price estimation/indication is not accepted (e.g. due to whatever reason such ass it's not someone who went inside the property and use some ruler to measure accurately etc.), it's now impossible to have the accurate numer for 2021 (which is already 2 years passed, especially it's property abroad and now it is extremely inconvenient to manage).
By some search over Internet, it seems the estimated value is quite reasonable in the country/region, but just not sure how strict the requirement it could be here in CH.
Many thanks if someone could share some insights.
