We would like to move our daughter into a new primary school and enable her to repeat the 5th class. She is currently at a school in Oberwinterthur. We feel that the standard of teaching aswell as the management of the school is poor aswell as the total lack of outings or fun activities to support learning and bring the children together. Therefore a move would be better !
Has anyone experience or advise on the quality of education, friendliness and enthusiasm of the other primary or secondary schools in Oberwinterthur / perhaps also Hegi? We are will be making a request very soon to change for the next 2 years.
Longer term we would like to buy a property. Due to budget restructions, we will therefore move out of Winterthur. We are looking for an area to buy a house that is commutable to Baden, offers affordable housing and has good schools.
we are finding it very difficult to find out about where and which are the good schools in Oberwinterthur and those in a neighbouring canton. We are prepared to move anywhere where the schools are better !!
Any advice would be very helpful- Without any school evaluations / rankings it is very difficult to know what to do / where to go.
