Question re AHV Pension Application

Hi, I lived and worked in Zurich for three years about 15 years ago. I reside in Canada now and am in the process of applying for my Swiss AHV Pension.

I have a question certain documents i need to include with my application and would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction re the following documents:

- "OASI certificates in your possession"

- "OASI stamp books in your possession"

I have maintained a full Swiss employment file but don't have any certificates of stamp books.

I am also to include Swiss Work Certificates. Is this synonymous with my Swiss Work Permit?

Unfortunately my former Swiss employer is no longer operating in Switzerland and I can't secure any documentation via that route.

Many thanks for your input.

No, it's the document that you received upon ending your employment.

Tom

The AHV application form indicates to include (among others and as relevant):

1. "Copy of foreign certificates of employment which state the periods of contributions to the relevant national social security systems (work certificates and salary statements)"

2. "Original AVS stamp book of the insured applicant"

For 1., obtain the non-Swiss certificates of employment from the non-Swiss social security administrations and enclose with application.

For 2., the AHV should have this information. If you don't have it, it can't be included and so the box shouldn't be checked as an enclosure.
