Hi all,

I was interested in non-EU work permit quotas. Out of curiosity, if we assume that there is a contract with a start date in the beginning of January and the employer applies for a work permit in November or December. Then does this work permit granted from the November or December month quota or the January one? A bit stupid question, but just want to prepare in advance, if I should aim my start date for February or not, when the quotas a renewed in Q1. If anyone knows would be good if you can share. Thank you all.

This was my case in 2012 when my employer applied for the permit on my behalf. I got the job offer in November 2011, and my permit was applied for at the same time. The permit to be issued, is taken from the quota allocation at the month of issuance. In my case it was January 2012.
