Yeah, one could also say that virtually all hospitalizations regarding milk are from unpasturized diary products. That still doesn’t mean that it’s that bad.

1.5% of the US population are 5M people.
3.2% is 11M people.

US figures. Given the state of their agriculture I would not expect the numbers to be relevant here.

Particularly cheese. Many Swiss hard cheeses are made from unpasteurised milk including (as far as I can tell) all Gruyere, Emmentaler and Appenzeller (which covers the 3 biggest sellers). That US 1.6% is probably north of 75% here.
