Given my hazy memory, and even hazier grasp of toolsā¦ it was some sort of angled thingamabob that fit under the board to break up the glue without interferring with the underfloor system. So probably Spinalās floor scraper.
Which reminds me: the job was only a day and a half because OH played apprentice to the profi floor guy. Would have taken longer if he wasnāt able to help out. So at least his time spent researching DIY videos, and reading this thread, did not go to waste.

Iām having new floorboards and was reluctant to glue them down exactly fearing future issues with maintenance.
