'Schönes weekend'?

No doubt that the word in France is weekend . Pronunciation varies but there is a chance that the last -d is not pronounced.

I suspect Belgium to use also fin de semaine quite naturally. Just a vague memory, I could be wrong...

Are you sure wolly went to "Kindergarten"/"Chindergarte"

why?

all it means is "have a nice rest of the day" or "enjoy the rest of the day"
