As stated above, in the SEM document checklist they said they need the original language certificate, and since Fide don’t issue extra copies of the certificate, what I did was, I got a color copy made, got it eliminated and sent that color copy instead which almost resembles the original one. The Fide certificate, its not on a normal A4 paper but more a hardened paper like a thin card board sheet (e.g., like a diploma or degree certificate from your university).
Anyway, they will send it back to you after the SEM case processing is finished, so no need to worry.
