Any concerns or gotcha's?
I'm looking at various scooter options from Honda mostly, in the 125cc range. When comparing the French and Italian prices to the Swiss ones, savings of 1000 to 2000 are easily achievable for suggested retail, sometimes even more. Those prices even include their local VAT, so the price is even higher then it should be in the end. I presume a dealer there would be eager to sell me one. I presume the process is similar as a car purchased outside Switzerland and brought in. Anyone done anything like this? I would pay the Swiss road tax and vat I presume when I register it here.
