Selling on Ricardo.ch - be aware of the fees

Here is an act of idiocy on my part. At OH's request, bought some Rollmops at Migro. Rollmops are herring fillets, wrapped around pickles - you either love them or hate them and I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. So, maybe because I dislike them so much I didn't take note of the fact that they were in the refrigerated section (!) and when I got home put them in the cupboard.

Months later OH was digging in the cupboard, found it and almost had a stroke. The top on the jar was bulging and that sucker was about to blow. Just imagine. Rotting fish, exploding in the apartment. No thanks to me we were spared trying to get the odor of rotting fish out of the walls, the floor, etc. We got that jar into the Züri-Sack and out to the trash so fast ...

Yes! I finally don't feel alone.

I don't make mistakes: I always get my husband to read the fine print.

I'm a genius, me.

That's what she said

*I'll get me coat*

This is what my husband would say and here we are

haven't had those for years. now feeling quite peckish!

You are using their services and instructure, of course they are going to charge you for listing your item. Ebay do the same and charge per listing. Isn't that a little obvious?

Assuming you are in rented accommodation. Check the fine print when you have to give notice, i.e. in many cases a day late giving notice in writing, might tie some people into another month or up to 3 months.

Important too to check when you have to give notice on your lan-line depending who is your provider. I think there is one automatically starts another 12 months if you do not reply.

if you have contract on a mobile/cell check the notice dates.

Bookings for holidays, hotel, restaurants - if you do not give relevant notice or no notice, i.e. do not show up, they can charge cancellation charges, possible the full cost

If you get a dog register it fast. I was late and it cost me 80chf!

Dont forget the wife's birthday.

I think that's enough obviousness for one day.
