Simple Tax Question - declaring funds on tax return

I have a very basic question which I'm sure some wise person knows the answer to :-)

In the scenario where someone has some assets held with a broker (eg Swissquote), I am assuming that on your tax return you must declare both the value of assets held in funds as well as any cash.

So if you had, say, 20,000 chf in funds and 1,500 chf as cash, you should declare 21,500 (not 1,500) as part of the fortune??

Is that correct?

It's Vaud if that makes a difference.

You declare the funds you have, in most cases the online tool will add what is required.

So 15 x fundsmith @ value per 31.12 = x chf

Yes or declare the amounts separately. If the funds generate income like dividends that needs to be declared also.

I have some money in some Acc funds in the UK and there is of course no information about the dividends in the yearly statement as they are reinvested. Do I need to work out how much I would have been paid had it been a distribution fund so I can declare the dividends in my tax return in Switzerland?

Don ́t you get a notification on the reinvestment? I get that every time from the banks.

Of course there is, all UK funds need to report this. Sure you checked the right statements?

Theoretically yes. In many cases swiss tax authorities will be able to calculate them for you if you omit them, no big deal

I believe I do not get the information because they are in an ISA, funds in a normal investor account do give details on dividends. I'll work it out myself and declare it.

It seems to me that ISAs are not included in the banking information exchange, so you could accidentally forget about them maybe.
