I've just hired a car for two days for the grand sum of CHF21.99.
Sixt are having a special 11.11.11 promo with 1111 cars for rent at bonkers prices. Snap 'em up. Offer lasts until mid December, but you have to book today. Nice nice.
a link would be helpful. I have searched for the deal on their website using various days (weekends and weekdays) and have not been able to get anything for 11 chf per day
I just want to say that I've been with Sixt for over 10 years (decided not to own a car as we live in the city centre), and they are top. I'm renting from them regularly, world wide, and really happy with both the cars and service. I can't say that I never had any problems, but there were always solutions.
Big kudos to the Zurich city team, they really rock . Ms Glauser runs it really well!
Anbody lucky enough to be holidaying in Spain? we have some crazy prices there too ;-) Here's a sneak peek for you guy's as the promotion is not actually being published until Monday.
Car hire in Spain for rentals taking place between 14th and 22nd December and between 6th to 26th of January. Vehicle rentals "Smart" from 11 Euros per day. Have to be booked next week Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for 7 days. You can book on www.sixt.co.uk As always feel free to contact me.
gary, i have a question. i do hold a press pass and with a press pass i should get up to 50% discount. but thats never the case. internet offers i could book cheaper as by fon with my press pass. why is it, what do i have to do to get 50%? what does it depend on?
For the record I have no connection with Sixt except for being a satisfied customer. I've yet to ride the Range Rover Sport hint hint nudge nudge say no more how's your Father?
This relates to booking cars in the UK - I've used Sixt a couple of times.
Generally I book a car to collect at Manchester Airport to drive to my parents who live in Yorkshire (it's a bit hilly). Each time I have been given a car which does not have a proper handbrake - instead a button and the release is done by pressing the button while holding the brake pedal.
How the heck am I supposed to do a hill start in a car like that? I spent all my time stopping the car rolling back on the accelerator and clutch which is real pain.
Is there some way at booking time I can direct that the car I actually get on the day has a handbrake on a lever and not on the brake pedal / button combination?
