I'd be scared.
But please don't move this to Forum Support!
This was more than a year ago. It is hard to say if I am still traumatised, but I must admit I look more closely at my Special K than I used to, in case I see looking up at me.
Is she still alive? Is she going to be on the cover of the next Nature sharing protagonism with the Higgs boson? I am sure millions of entomologists would rejoice to see the a newly found a spider that belong to the Insecta.
Still, I worry about the fate of the spider...
Spiders hiding in the broccoli are quite common - I once boiled one....
Just last week I bought a wrapped cauliflower. Believe it or not, I found a big fat specimen of Brassica oleracea in the package. This week, in a bag of green beans, I found (sit down before you read this!) about 70 (SEVENTY!!!) specimens of Phaseolus vulgaris, all of them in full state of pregnancy (or whatever you call that). No kidding!
I could compile a huge list of such shocking finds. And the people at the stores do not even apologize, let alone give me chocolate. They just laugh at me and wisper to one another, "Oh no, it's him again!"
Now this is Swiss customer service as we know it. Of course, if I were in the USA, I'd sue the heck out of any grocer that sells me tomatoes full of Solanum lycopersicum, which obviously is illegal over there, but here no one seems to care. Even Swiss lawyers make fun of me too.
I suppose it could be considered a welcome change.
