Oh, and this previous post that states no changes in four years and all children have moved is completely and utterly false! It is getting sickening to see this google sites web post up still after so many things have changed the school for the better. I would say the caliber of the upper school teachers rivals in many professionalism and ability the larger schools... Go ahead and PM me if you want more info...this is getting utterly ridiculous!
Are you working for ISZN? I read all your comments on ISZN, it seems you make PR for them and you have too many inside infos on courses etc. It seems to me that i know you and you are working in the secretary of the ISZN.....
It seems Zara007, that you think you know me, which I highly doubt as I try to surround myself with positive people...not those who would post these things as you have.
No I do not work in the office of ISZN, but that isn't any of your business anyway, where I work, what I do or anything. I will say that I have a many many good friends that work for all three schools (ICS, ZIS and ISZN) as well as those who work in Schaffhausen, Winterthur and also in ISOCS and ISZL...even in Auf dem Rosenburg, and I know the international school systems both here and in other countries very well, I can say that all schools have problems, some more than others but all are working through them. When people put up posts that are negative, they don't do any harm to the head of school, board of directors or owners..they do harm to the kids that go there and to the staff whose livelihood depends on working at said school.
So, if I have been giving PR to any school, whether ZIS, ICS or ISZN or any of the others above named, good for them???at least I know what I am talking about when it comes to education and the welfare of a child.
I do believe, though, and please correct me if I am wrong, I have not bad mouthed a school? my mommy told me a long ,long time ago that if you can't say something nice don't say it.
Malibu2, i don't know who you are. A blog’s purpose is to allow to post opinions and experiences, positive or negative. After all, we live in a free country. I’m sure parents on this blog will read and do what’s best for them and their children.
I am in no way involved with this school or any other for that matter but I fail to see how a link to a review where the latest entry is from 2009 is in any way useful to parents looking at this school in 2014.
An awful lot can change in four years and the people on here with more recent experience of the school seem happy with the place.
I agree. I know plenty of teachers, staff, parents and pupils and I'm sure there might be occasional problems as in any organisation or company. And I'm always suspicious of someone joining the forum just to slag off a company.
Zara007, the link you posted has already been mentioned in this thread, almost 2 years ago, when I initially asked about the school.
We have been at ISZN for 2 years now and have had no problems. I would be interested to hear more about the issue you had with the director of the school.
I would still recommend ISZN as our experience has been all positive. The school is not perfect, no school is though
hi zara007, am interested in an offline discussion. we have our kid (13) in ISZN since 6 months and are very unhappy about the curriculum/homework, etc. it is impossible to track what our kid has to do in school and the assignments are ludicrous... would you be interested in a brief exchange per email or phone?
