Swiss pension

Hi,

I have recently cashed out my Swiss pension (I have been living in the UK for many years) and I wanted to invest it in a house but I haven't find one yet . The problem is now that I unexpectedly have to go back to Switzerland for a few months as my mum is very sick.

I will have to get a new job there and my question is : will I have to transfer back the money?

I guess it is a very rare case, so I don't find information about it.

I would guess no, as this isn’t a planned permanent move on your part.

No you don't need to pay it back. But you could and purchase back years. If you want to do that I would not do it too close to the cash out to avoid raising suspicion.
