Swiss Spirit (alcohol)?

Here's a link to an American site that has a bottle similar to what I'm talking about.

Jemma. It's lovely but tastes better when served cold and slipped slowly.

Southern Comfort and Rivella

So if its so nice how come you've had the stuff nearly 10 years or are you saving it for a special occasion?

Not sure if this helps but bought my bottle from my dads local supermarket in France??

Local custom says that the pear should never be exposed to the air, (it will go mouldy or something) so when the bottle is half empty you should top it from a spare bottle without the pear. At least that's what I'm always told.

Nick.

I top it up from time to time to stop the air reaching the fruit

I've had that stuff in the US. It's pretty good. I also had that and Mirabella when I was riding a train in Germany with some raucous, yet very generous football fans.

That's what I got, and it was before I read this thread. I just saw it in Spar next to the Fernet Brianca. My wife is Czech so I'm very familiar with Fernet Stock (and Absinthe...the real stuff, not the sissified version) so I guess I know what I'm in for.

... nearly 20 years actually

As it happens, I do

If home is the UK, pm me, I might have a proposal for you.

Some friends of mine do drink Williamine and Red Bull, if you fancy trying something different

A friend of mine tried Baccardi-Flauder because of a lack of alternatives... If you're still searching new ideas!
