Technical examination of a one-year car

I've researched a bit more and found a niche website that is full of bad reviews and there they have a very low rating ~2.5 (garagencheck.ch), one of the reviewers claims that autoscout24.ch removes negative reviews (idk if it could be true or not?). Some of the reviews were pretty alarming, ie. that the car did not match the announced specs or that it had defects soon after purchasing etc.

I've also checked this company on moneyhouse.ch for announcements, and if I am reading it correctly about half a year ago they filed for bankruptcy and were granted it, but another court reverted it a few months later. Currently, I guess they are again a normal entity, and I am no lawyer to evaluate it, but I imagine a company going through bankruptcy should not be allowed to sell off its assets.

Also, there's no recent pinpoint on Google Maps with reviews for them under that address, and there's another company with the same website, team members, etc but under a different name.. But let's say this part is normal.

I am probably just paranoid, but this whole thing is a bit dodgy to me, I'd rather pay more elsewhere.

Any garage I am checking has some bad reviews that are alarming but this one is an extreme case to me.

Sounds dodgy as. Go to a Volvo dealership and do it properly.

You can make this easier if you post the links to three cars you would consider.

Nobody's going to snap up the cars in front of your nose.

I wouldn't worry too much about dealer-warranty vs. manufacturer warranty.

So, I guess it's an XC40 Recharge then (or a C40)?

Have you read up about it? Checked forums? Watched Bjørn Nyland's video(s) about it?

You make it sound like you are making a thought-experiment of buying a car.

I am not as much concerned about hinting the car as about speaking publicly about a concrete company.

Yes, it's primarily C40 that we're considering and maybe XC40 or EX30. I've watched a bunch of videos. We're going to see one in person on Sat until then it's indeed a though experiment. I am a skeptical person in general =) I can spent days reading about home appliances like robots before making a purchase even if it is a 500-1.5k matter. I understand it's an annoying quality.

PS Thx for the Bjørn Nyland recommendation
