Remember last year when the word “blackout” featured news headlines during some weeks? Well, no blackouts this winter that is ending, but price of kW/h is going up. However, 30 or even 100% increase is not that relevant because charging EVs was ridiculously cheap in first place. So, yes there is a price increase. Is it relevant? Open to discussion.

Then, the vehicle tax. In Ticino EVs pay only 120 CHF per year. However, this is sustainable as long as the fraction of EVs in total car fleet is low. If number of EVs keeps increasing, canton will be forced to tax them somehow at some point.
It's a gut feeling and IMHO that's good enough.
...ah, evidently my guts are a bit different than yours then
Than they hyped us about gas with alcohol! Somehow that petered out.
They also hyped us about 5 gears are enough. Suddenly they could have more!
Than they hyped us about the wonders of diesel! Til Dieaselgate came along.
And now they are hyping us with EVs.
The way I figure it, by the time I get my next car the best bet will be a golf cart. Cause by then no one will be able to go over the by then nationalized 30 KM speed limit.
And that's what my guts tell me.
Basically an excuse to get water out of contaminated gasoline.
