The Re 6/6 is a beautiful loco, (especially in olive green). Shame they got relegated to freight work.

I see one of those every time I go to the office. It brings the refrigerated cars to the COOP warehouses in Hunzenschwil.
Yes, the first in Swiss service has COOP branding. Germany has a few, and in the UK they are the 99 Class
While I was Down Under, I managed to get my hands on one of these collectors items. Now all I have to do is work out how to get it here…(it weights just on 140kg).

I think it almost identifes as a letterbox.
Mechanical and electro-mechanical safeworking items are becoming very collectable. Just the electric staffs (the sticks that go in these machines) fetch an average of 300GBP each at auction these days.
