Bringing the topic back with an update.

Recently applied and it has gone through to "conditional approval", meaning the interview is yet to be done upon arrival in the US.

Costs are OK, $100 for the folks in the states. CHF 20 for the Swiss police report and another CHF 100 for the Swiss authorities to submit the documents to the Trusted Traveller Program in the US.

Next step, the interview. Which can only be done in the US for first timers. If the five year life of your Global Entry is expired, there is a possibility of a virtual interview.

Plan is to catch a flight to the US for work. Will schedule flights with an appointment for the interview.

Anybody else have the pleasure to recently obtain the Global Entry as a non-US person and care to briefly explain:

1. How the interview went?

2. What was asked?

3. Which documents do they wish to see?

Can’t do it from a non-citizen perspective, just a comment on scheduling an interview. I was conditionally approved in November and have not been able to get an appointment during my travel period. Mind you I am travelling to New England and there were at least 6 offices within a half day drive. (NY, CT, BOS, VT....)

The online video call....forget it....there are never dates available.

Did a little more surfing and asked around the company - someone actually has their GE since 2021 - and have the following:

From the CBP website , if you have the "conditional approval", you don't need an appointment to complete the process. There is "enrollment on arrival" which means:
