I have a stupid question maybe, and I can seem to find the right answer in internet.
I want to plug my TV to the cable plug and get to see the open channels in Switzerland (SRF, etc). All without a TV suscription to any provider because honestly I do not watch tv that much to pay for it.
i just figured if I pay Serafe I might as well just get the SRF at home.
My question:
1. Is this a possibility at all to get TV through normal cable? some sources says that there is no terrestrial signal anymore?
2. My home has TV plugs with 3 outputs, what cable should I get?

For this you need a signal to be present in the cable plug, meaning that you need a subscription with a company that will feed your plug.
Yes, this is more or less what Serafe is for.
"No" and "correct". I think your main option is network streaming, through a computer or directly if you have a Smart TV. There's also satellite, but it may cost something.
If you subscribe to a cable provider, they will send you the instructions, and the exact plug/cable might be different depending on the equipment provided. If you don't subscribe it's likely that none of the 3 outputs has any useful signal (it should not but I have not tried, YMMV).
That's a UPC plate and a regular TV extension cable would connect but I think your TV needs to have a cable receiver built in (many do). If you're lucky you'll get the channels (I do). If you're unlucky they'll send you a bill for it. You might find you're already paying for it through the Nebenkosten.
