I have a general query - hence why I’m not contacting a specific Uni/department to ask. Though maybe there might be a Uni employee on here?

In the U.K. for mature students, they take into consideration all the things you have done and don’t hold you to the normal A-level entry requirements. I wondered if Swiss Unis are similar.

For example;

My A-levels were fairly awful, so I wouldn’t have the Matura entry equivalent BUT I have a 1st Class Bachelors from a U.K. uni. If I wanted to do another Bachelors in CH, would they take that into consideration? Or is the Matura a must?

In Switzerland the Matura is either a pass (4.0 or more) or a fail. From that point of view there is not much to further consider.

Now, the Swiss Matura is not the only Swiss certificate which offers university admission, next to the passarelle on top of a vocational Matura, also a bachelor of a Swiss FH (or Swiss Uni) is accepted.

Now to your foreign bachelor. It might be accepted, but it might come with additional requirements. Like you might have to do a " Ergänzungsprüfung/ECUS " or in case of ETH, their own entrance exam (full or reduced) See also for universities with their own entrance exams .

In the end it highly depends on the university. An application sur dossier is always possible. Best if you get in contact with your dream university to see how successful such an application might be.
