US Swiss Tax company Zurich

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know of any tax advisors or tax preparation companies that can do Swiss and US taxes based in Zurich or anywhere else in Switzerland? I'm always have to deal with two different companies and would like to have one tax prep company that can do both.

The Big 3 (or 2 or 4 or whatever they are nowadays) will offer this - at big firm prices.

Back in the day KPMG did both sets of taxes. It still meant a bit of information flow hoop-jumping, though, because although everything started in Switzerland, back then their US experts were largely in their Paris office. I don't know if that is still the case. (Maybe one year PWC might have done them - it's been so long my memory is a tad hazy...)

Once OH was no longer on an expat package, though, we couldn't justify the cost. Now OH does the Swiss taxes himself, as they are easy. The US taxes, where the return is measured in kilos, are done by a small firm here. Takes more time on our part, but saves thousands.

KPMG does that both in CH and the US for an organization on whose board I sit.

Ernst & Young will do both you simply work with different people for the Swiss vs the US taxes.

As an alternative to the big 3, USS tax does mine. They cost, but they specifically specialize in people that pay both US and Switzerland taxes.

Here is one that advertises (this time of the year) on WRS (one of the bigger EN radio stations in CH).
