Just want to check with you how.s the procedure to use my car in Switzerland. I will bring my car( using it by 5 years) but i don.t want to register it in Switzerland and to maintain my homecountry plates. I understand that I can usit for 1 yearn but from customs said that i need to declare it and I'll receive 13.20A form. Ok...I will..I read about the 13.20A form and my question is if somebody knows if the customs will hold my registration document and I'll receive by post new swiss plates?

While "you'll just receive it by post" is true to a lot of Swiss bureaucracy, registering a car is a bit more complicated
Customs will simply acknowledge that you are importing your car and release a document that authorises you to drive this car with foreign plates for 1 year from that day. Then it is your job to do all the necessary thing to obtain Swiss plates within 1 year

I'd invite you to google something like "import car 13.20A" - there is a ton if information online, much of which on this exact forum.
I think you are missing the idea behind it: in principle, as a Swiss resident you can't drive a car with foreign plates in Switzerland. This would make moves a logistical nightmare, so when you move in you have this 1 year grandfather period that gives you enough time to switch your car's registration.
You import the car immediately the first time you cross the border, you get the forms and the clock starts ticking. Then you have to do the whole procedure, get Swiss plates, Swiss insurance and make your car just "swiss"
You receive 13.20A right away when you cross Swiss border during your move - you can't be a resident in Switzerland and drive a foreign car that is not registered at the customs.
There are two parts, governed by two different laws, and two different agencies.
First comes the import process with customs, which is pretty simple. Fill in Form 18.44, get Form 13.20A for your car. Done.
