Value of pension funds needed on tax return?

Hi,

I used to have a tax adviser filing my annual tax return for several years and recently I started doing it myself (I kind of 'enjoy' it).

For the first time it occurred to me that I don't disclose the (sadly small) value of my Swiss & UK pension funds on the tax return. Whereas of course I declare the value of my bank accounts and any other assets.

I assume this is correct as the tax adviser filed like this, but does that sound right to everyone?

(Yes, I've tried asking the Steueramt but got no reply. I also tried searching this forum, but there's a lot of pension-related questions. If it seems a real problem, I will find a tax adviser again.)

Yes, that is correct.

Tom

Thanks a lot

yes, 100% correct, no taxation on pillar 2 and 3a. (there is taxation once you withdraw the money though. however that's only possible if you leadve the country, start a self-employment, buy self-used property or got retired at the official age).
