Just received my voting documents for the vote for the Conseil d’Etat and the Grand Conseil .

Aren't we just voting for the Canton rep's.
Not sure about issues, as I understand it, you vote on party lines or choose who looks the sexiest on the billboards.

My advice, and it is not neutral- please do NOT vote UDC.
Well, that’s a given. The Cantonal parties differ from the Federal ones. For example I don’t see the liberal greens.
I’m also looking for help on the council d’etat, but my vote is just for the Nyon region.
I don’t want to a stain because I don’t know or understand the issues.
Have a look at smartvote.ch which to my surprise is at least partially available in English. I'm pretty sure last time I used it, it was only in French (and German of course).
