It’s been a very long time since my last post! I now live in the other side of the world so haven’t logged in in over 10!! years.

I met my husband at English Forum midweek drinks at Talacker Bar way back in 2008. The dog mural was a bit of a long-standing joke with the EF crowd back then. If it happens to still be there and you have a few mins to spare I’d love a decent-ish photo of it. None of the ones on google are good enough.

I know of two married couples and one long-term live-in partnership (10+ years) courtesy of our old EF drinks nights in Lausanne. Plus there was a famous EF couple who are now married with kids who met at one of Grumpy's cheese events in Zurich.

There’s another married couple living where we are now who also met around the same time through EF - not sure if it was Talacker or Grumpys or one of the other social events. Our oldest child now goes to school with their daughter. It’s a crazy small world sometimes.
