Hi Folks

I came to Switzerland on a work permit. The employer has deduced nearly 200 chf from my salary in the first month due to the cantonal authorization rechnung. However I also had paid nearly 200 chf at the swiss embassy in my home country when I went to get the visas. The embassy says that cost is different from the other one! So does anybody has the same exp? All of my permit process was done by the employer and not the embassy.

You pay the embassy in your home country for your visa then the company has made the request to the authorities and paid for your permit application and permit and they are now passing those costs on to you.

If you make the permit application yourself you pay the authorities directly, in your case it was done via your employer.
