Visit to the UK with Swiss permit B

Argovia. My swiss friends can't stop complaining that I've become too swiss... Btw, I shared some valuable experience from my side, no need for fuming around. And yes, even swiss apply for visas sometimes.

LifeStrain - Why use the phrasing ***stan or "weird country" then?

Citizens of some countries will have further checks (hassles?) when they try to get visas to visit other parts of the world. It's not their fault that they were born in a particular country or have ancestry from that place. Being from somewhere doesn't mean you support the current government or even past governments. It doesn't make the country or the people weird. It's simply different.

Maybe you didn't mean to come across the way you did, but as I read it your words seemed pretty condescending.

Isn't it clear from the context that I am one of those people and come from one of those countries? And yes, I think those countries (including mine) are weird and deserve to be addressed this way for treating their citizens badly and for other deeds of their governments. If someone is proud of being able to travel to 25 and a half third world countries visa free and enjoy violation of their rights, then... well I didn't mean to insult their pride. Or stupidity.

Hi qyh, do you remember how early you can make the appointment in Geneva after you submit the online application? Is it possible to book an appointment within two weeks?

Hi there, I just checked my emails. I applied online on April 2 2018, and I went to Geneva on April 10. I am not sure if it was the earliest appointment. Good luck!
