Can someone please confirm: Do Swiss citizens need a passport to enter UK post Brexit or is the Swiss ID card still accepted?

You need a passport unless you are in an exceptional situation (see below if you are in such a situation):
In the summer loads of Swiss people going to the UK had to buy an emergency passport because they'd not realised this change.
