Voluntary AHV

I am a dual citizen (US and Swiss). I grew up in Switzerland but never worked there as an adult. I joined the voluntary AHV (for Swiss citizens living abroad) when I started working. I have been paying my contributions with income that has already been taxed (the first 14 years from South Africa and the remainder has been/will be paid from the US). I still have a few years before I retire, but I am trying to find out if/how I will be taxed on my my AHV pension once I retire and start receiving it.

Is there anyone on this forum that contributed to the Voluntary AHV and is now receiving the AHV pension in the US? Do you have to pay tax on the AHV pension income in the US, even though you made contributions with income that has already been taxed?

Also..... does Switzerland deduct taxes from the AHV pension payments?

I appreciate any help with answering my questions. Thank you!
