**Warning ** Inter Discount** Warning**

I learned all I need to know about Interdiscount earlier this year from one of their signs. There was one of their yellow signs above a printer which was on sale....The sign said Aktion....the price of 79.95 was crossed out and a new price of 99.95 was written on it.

Wish i had taken a photo of this...would have been 5 times funnier. First time a sale price was more than the original price

Not Samsung but Compaq. I remember that "day of discount" .

I refuse to shop at InterScamDiscount after purchasing a Sony TV and cinema pack + BluRay which the assistant told me came with big cash back from Sony. Sent my receipts of to Sony for my CHF600 refund only to be told that the models I bought didn't fall under the offer. I made sure I clarified this with the sales asistant. Bunch of useless idiots

....'bout the only thing I've bought from ID in years .... and at that price was prepared to take the risk.

Regarding the staff product knowledge .... the words monkeys and peanuts come to mind.

Strange ..... ? I didn't include the Intel ad link on the words Samsung and battery life .

Is this some weird recognition software that does this, or are there gremlins at work?

EDIT: they've disappeared now - were previously in blue and double underlined.

You'd get better service from a monkey.

Hi,

I bought a Samsung GT-i9100 5 months ago. My handy had a problem with the electricity system and I send it to Interdiscount.

Mobitetouch AG checked my handy an said that it has a humidity problem and therefore the LCD Screen has to be replaced. Sorry, the LCD was working propertly!

Mobiletouch AG sent an invoice to Interdiscount for 45.25 CHF and Interdiscount sent me an invoice for 80 CHF

Interdiscount doesn't worry about the warranty of my nearly 500 CHF expensive Handy ...

I will never buy products in Interdiscount again.

If your phone is working properly now, there's no reason to doubt it was the screen which caused the trouble. I assume the reason you have to pay for it is that humidity damage is not covered by your warranty (usual case), irrespective whether it affected your screen or something else (or whether you bought it at Interdiscount for that matter). If anything, you have to challenge the 'damage through humidity' claim.

(BTW it's AFAIK almost unavoidable in Switzerland that a broken smartphone ends up getting repaired by Mobiletouch)

Just to balance this thread, I have bought my current laptop, iPad & Nikon D300 from interdiscount & never had an issue with any product I bought. I never buy extended warranties or insurance as I don't need them.

If I was to drop an item in the toilet then I would not expect the manufacture or shop to pay for a repair!

Hi, my phone is not working.

I had 3 possibilities:

To pay 80 chf and they recicle the phone by themselves

To pay 80 chf and I get it back

To pay 307.95 to repair it ...

They wrote something about the LCD althought the LCD was working propertly. The only logical reason that I find to this situation is, that mobiletouch didn't check properly my phone

I had never problems in the past with the things that I bought in Interdiscount. This was the first time, that I had to send something to be repaired. And trust me, I didnt drop my phone to the toilet

If your laptop, iPad or Nikon D300 gets broken, please let me know how it ends with the reparatur. In my case, I think that the problem was Mobiletouch but I can not confirm it because nobody sent me a paper telling me the official reason about the problem with the electrical system of my phone

Well I will take the iPhone to an Apple store, the Nikon to The Nikon repair centre in ZH, really very easy! interdiscount is a shop, not a repair centre!

Could not agree more. cs in such stores is bad but if you take back to the main man they honour the warranty..

Nope nor do I buy extended warranties, with the cs here they are useless plus I love the look on their face when I say " well if it breaks I'll just throw it away, I'll most likely Be bored and want the new one by then anyhow"

However, being an insurance guy I am covered to the hilt and actually want to be able for it to cost me nothing if I do some stupid damage like droping the iphone down the pan... I truely never thought of such because I'm careful and if I'm pissed it is my own stupid fault, until I actually saw my sister do it whilst cleaning.... Laughing aside, 2 years of insurance from the service provider equals a hell of a lot less than a new smartphone without the network discount to cost....

Interdiscount is a bunch of fools and the people who work in that place don't give a damn for the customers. But probably with the wages they get then it's maybe understandable. My black list also incldes Fust and Eschermoser.

You can streamline your blacklist ! Eschenmoser became part of Fust some 5 years ago, and Fust and Inter-Discount belong to the COOP Co-operative

go to Fust instead:

Fust = Frust ( thats German for frustration!)

I prefer only Media Markt and Digitech.

You do understand that you may be left high and dry when relying on some statement on a UBS -website related to the Fust terms of sale ?

The Fust terms re. the return right are not quite as generous as the marketing lingo on the UBS page:

§10 of their terms states that most items can be returned within 30 days, provided they are in the original packaging and in mint condition .

Indeed, it is
