'Warteschlange' by Andrew Bond for Contact Tracing hotline

Sometimes you really don't expect that the thing so small can hit the right note so hard.

But there I was, on second day of Covid, trying to call back the contact tracing team, feeling under the weather and expecting to hear a fragment of Beethoven's sonata repeated for 30 times, as if I would call post or bank on a daily business.

But after connecting I heard a tune accompanying words "Herzlich willkommen..." and the guy was singing exactly about I was going through in a so soothing voice that it really changes the attitude. It is so uplifting when you feel someone took care of so small detail, showing that your are not only next number on the line for them, but the complex human being. And it's provided exactly when you need it.

Andrew Bond normally creates really nice music for the kids, but here he made that exception:

Just wanted to share that with you. Shows clearly, that there are people that care.

Thanks a lot for sharing. I enjoyed listening to it.

Sometimes I think: what would Swiss kindergartens and childcare centers do if Andrew Bond didn't exist?

He is totally not a thing in the French speaking part so I guess the ecoles enfantines teachers manage somehow!
