Nah, he can wear them back to front and inside out before he resorts to washing them again so he’s probably got at least another week’s wear in them.
Old German joke: Sargent lines up his men in the barracks courtyard and shouts at them in his usual announcing voice. “Men!! Today is underwear changing day…Zimmerman exchanges with Huber, Müller exchanges with Fischer!”
Gotta love that German sense of humour.
I use wash sheets-bluu for most clothes. For towels, I use tandil wash sheets. To get out spots, I use Ace on clothing and vanish on towels. To wash silk and wool, I use sonnett wash for wool and silk. When I dry stuff, I sometimes put a few drops of lavender oil on a wash cloth.
I’ve seen an increase in “wash perfume”. It seems to be strong.
I, too, am becoming a fan of the Bluu wash sheets. I was surprised that they do a decent job on dark clothes (in cold wash) - so far no fading. Not having to carry heavy detergent up the stairs is a bonus.
For washing ‘mutt stuff’ I still use Prix Guarantee Universal powder. Cheap as chips, lasts forever, even with the mountains of bedding I have to do every week. Stands up to mucky pups, which is all I ask for.
I…read…“butt”…stuff!
