Hi, anyone know if you can put rubbish stickers on items you are throwing away items that are not traditional garbage? I saw a neighbor put out a small chair that way. But I’m sure there are size and weight restrictions. Anyone have any idea where I can find this information for Kusnacht?
There are rules in terms of max size and weight, yes - also on the type of waste, in Thalwil for example the goods must be "burn-able". A chair sounds a pretty standard example of what you would throw away with these stickers.

At the end of the year, one usually gets the "Abfallkalender" for the next year. On it are the collection days, the address of the recycling places, and other useful information. In case of the city of Zurich it comes even with a few free "Entsorgungs Coupon".
