Any hard cheese, but I'm particularly partial to Parmesan.
Formaggini haven't been mentioned yet...
They are a soft, fresh cheese from Ticino. Very nice on Salads
They look like that in the fridge section:
Parmesan is Swiss, no. Cheddar is Swiss, no. Sbrinz, is a hard Swiss cheese, yes.
There's this soft cheese with walnut that's nice with fine. Coop sells it. I like that :P
in that order:
-gruyere (replaced feta on the top of my favourite cheeses list. but don't tell that to my fellow greeks)
- vacherin mont d'or in the oven
- tete de moin
- hobelkäse
- etivan
-tilsiter
I love any of the herb 'Alpkäse' - a hard cheese with crust/rind of herbs. You can just about hear those Swiss cows mooing as you devour it on a piece of fresh crusty bread.
