How long has it been left idle and when was the last UK MOT? Is that MOT still valid. Which UK insurance has told you that their insurance is still valid if you are permanently resident in Switzerland.

Makes sense! If there is anything I hate, it is being injured by cars that were not properly imported. Anytime I am hit by a car - the first thing I care about is whether custom duties were properly paid. If no - lock the criminal up, if yes - shit happens, a lawful citizen has the right to injure somebody once in a while.
