I wanted to get advice on when to start looking for a breeder, particularly for golden retrievers? My goal is to get a puppy by next year, so I'm wondering how long it took people from when they started looking for a breeder to when they could take home the puppy?
I've grown up with goldens but never went through the process of searching for a breeder, so any tips would be super helpful! I found the RCS website, but I was quite overwhelmed by the list of breeders
