Since husband leaves for work at 6am, it’s now dark outside when he does. I open the garage doors for him and have noticed that there are no stars to be seen in the night sky even though there are no clouds around to hide them. All I can see is one glowing light which I assume is a satellite, but nothing else. Where have all the stars gone?

I think they're there - unless we've all been robbed . This could explain why the launch of Artemis 1 was "postponed" yesterday
On a more serious point, the satellite was probably one of the Starlink satellites. They have ruined the night sky and, with future funding being pulled by the US' Federal Communications Commission, probably soon to be defunct to rattle endlessly around now.
Either there was light cloud that you couldn’t see in the dark (look outside now), or you have a lot of light pollution preventing you from seeing them.

Nope, small village so no light pollution to speak of. And no clouds either. It wasn’t just this morning, there’s been nothing to see in the sky except that satellite and the moon when it was in view. Days with cloud cover obviously going to be blocking things out, but we haven’t had much cloud at all lately.
Well, we’re up at 5.25am actually, but have breakfast before he leaves at 6am. Has an hour’s drive to get to work.
The satellite you saw was probably Venus, was visible at 06:00 today towards the east, but there are quite a few planets visible to the naked eye right now.
Air is warmer in Summer. Warmer air can hold more water vapor. Water vapor is invisible at the distances we usually focus our sight. However, a few hundred meters of warm and moist air can filter a lot of light, dimming down the stars.
Check again during nights with colder and "cleaner" air

0-dark-100, I would feel terrible remaining snug in my bed. If there's a job to be tackled, we do it together. Whether it's bailing floodwater out of the cellar, or opening the driveway gate when he's late home...

I usually get up before my wife in order to make her tea.
If I leave home very early, she's no problem staying in bed. I've no problem with her doing that either. We're different people - we express love in different ways. Equality doesn't come in to it. That'd be like a duty. Weird.
Same as us. The philosophy is more that we each put equal effort into the household, it's not about splitting everything 50/50. I'm a better cook, he's much better at paperwork, and we both equally hate cleaning so that gets evenly split between us. We've both had various rates of employment and unemployment over the years, the person with less hours at work takes on correspondingly more responsibility at home.
My husband is really lazy, so if I want him to do anything, I have to get out the cattle prod.
