What's it really like to walk on water all the time Tom ?
Every sale you get a notice a bit later for EBIT control (before and after the fuse box)
Problem is that Brazil is very similar and I strongly believe those are Brazilian sockets they are selling - they are not compatible and a few minimetre different to Switzerland sockets for whoever is intent on trying..
And, if they Brazilian then there's no way they have CE let alone Swiss approval.
RASI control was CHF 170, and as I said the only sticking points were stuff from when the place was built, everything I have done is fine and dandy.
In any case, next RASI inspection in 18 years.

If so, than simple to pass.
They do NOT check the actual work that has been done, just that everything passes their measurements.
Tom
I think these ones are actually swiss.
Is there really a difference ? Sure they can't see the installation you made as it is hidden but the quickly know if something doesn't measure correctly !
Interestingly in one post you say there was only a "couple of things to fix" yet later on there was "a list" if things to fix......
RSAI/EBIT is when a house is sold, irrespective of last test or 20 years.
But i am absolutely convinced, you know best, Tom.
The inspector didn't like my 3P extension cord (I should have removed it), so that had to be hardwired. The electrician was perfectly happy with my choice of cable and simply hardwired that.
We have no plans to sell in my lifetime, and a CHF 170 test that I now know how to pass is not a worry.
Ultimately, the only problems were with bits of the original installation from 45 years earlier, none of my work was questioned. Had I known what they would check, I would have checked it myself and fixed it all ahead of time.

P.S. Household electricity is dirt simple, even by age 10 I knew how to use my father's oscilloscope to check if the phases were aligned when using multiple transformers with my trains (to make them go faster)
My father never showed me his oscilloscope.
I had no idea what RSAI meant but it was pretty easy to find out

Tom
The list doesn't stop.
I bought a bench power supply not so long ago - I wished I had bought ones of those years ago.
My "oscilloscope" is one of those Ali Express 15 CHF ones. It's fine for voltage/logic levels etc but not a lot else!
I ought to get a real one. You can get something in the hundreds of francs rather than the thousands now.
I also bought one of the 15chf aliexpress ones and was pleasantly surprised that it was functional, but so frustrating to use that I never really used it.
F**k me Tom, you are a REAL STAR......You should get one in Hollywood Boulevard you so smart
